Chiang Mai flower Festival
The Chiang Mai Flower Festival is a beautiful event not to be missed.
It was started because of the plethora of different types and colours of flowers that grow well in the northern climate.
A great place to stay during the festival is our sister hotel, the Kantary Hills Hotel on stylish Nimmanhaemin Road - famous for great shopping, restaurants and bars.
This wonderful celebration of beauty takes over Chiang Mai for a few days every year attracting both tourists and Thais alike. The festival is a great tourist attraction for all.
The roads are quickly filled with flowers, brass bands and a multitude of people in Thai cultural dress.
If you were lucky / patient you would have got a glimpse of Miss Thailand 2008 - but aren't all Thai women beautiful?
